Wow! It worked! It was actually the lower switch. There are two switches . The upper I replaced and it didn’t work. Also left a key error message. So I flipped the shift gear over and there’s another switch “lower”. So I replaced switch with part and magic happen it worked. Dealer charges $480+ for repair. Thanks again.

Nissan Sentra 2013 CVT transmission shift lock replacement.
Ordered this for a Nissan Sentra SR 2013 that was stuck in parking. the dealer quoted 800 for the whole assembly but was able to fix it with this product. it comes with a micro switch and a bigger switch. after using the car for almost 2 weeks everything seems to be working great.

Auto Shift lock malfunction
Although this part is for a Sentra this worked in my 2016 versa SV, you cannot order this switch from Nissan you have to order the assembly, so if your car is not coming out of park and you verified it is this switch not working this will work as a replacement, perfect Fitment worked the very first try.

Perfect fit and functionality
Item was purchased to fix shifter locked in Park for 2013 Nissan Sentra. Item received quickly in Puerto Rico through USPS. Installation requires disassembly of center console. Easily done with youtube videos and plastic trim tool kit. Torx # 20 is also required. Worked like a charm. No more shift locked in Park issues.
