I purchased this product and brought it to my local speed shop for installation. Unfortunately, they were unable to install it because the plastic component on the bottom didn't fit correctly. They expressed concerns that it could cause the car to get stuck during shifting. I own a 1992 Miata, and although the product claims to be compatible with my year, it appears to be better suited for 1994 and newer models.
