I realize the packaging box may look worn due to the heavy ness of the item but It is still able to withstand any movement on shipping. I like the way the winch is marked and instructions given to make sure item is used correctly. I was glad to see the hoist was a good fit for my older 2001 Chevy Silverado 1500 and secured with the same bolt opening on my truck. This part was a great fit for my truck .
