    Not even close to the OEM item.

    Out of the box I didn't see anything wrong with this wiper transmission. It was only after comparing it to the old one that I realized the reason it's so much cheaper than the original. The stock wiper linkage uses blocks of plastic to mount under the cowl, with full length bolts that are secured with nuts from above. This item has metal plates instead and has very cheap coarse thread bolts massively with rounded edges on the sides of the heads over-tightened into them. I had to put the plates in a vice in order to remove all but one and I am a huge strong guy. The shaft that the wiper arms mount to is ugly. Try to use the gasket from the stock one, it doesn't cover the whole thing so bare metal shows and it just looks wrong. When you bolt on the wiper arms you will find the pitch of the ...
