This is the idler that is designed to prevent belt-slap for the long section of the compressor fan belt between the compressor clutch pulley and the crankshaft pulley. It has been bead-blasted and clear-coated and is in excellent rebuildable condition, with a very clean and straight idler pulley. Idler may be able to be used as is, but plan on replacing the bearing.”
