These resistors seem to be the best for cooling with the larger cooling fins and design. I installed them in my 1992 Fleetwood Jamboree Searcher with my new rear LED lights. I lost my cruise control. Now I have it back. The lights to not back light when the eng. is on anymore. Because they get so hot. I did not want to install them anywhere near wood or plastic, or in a closed, non ventilated area. So I installed them under the base boards of my storage and shower after I ran extra wire down.
