Priced is way too high, for this, in every respect
$180. for a piece of plastic is way too much to pay for such a thing. Additionally, the heavy elastic cord in back, that is supposed to hold it onto the rear of tire, is way too short, so there is no way in hell that it will go around the back of the tire that it is supposed to fit, the original equipment Land Rover II Discovery tire size. Because of this simple fact, I had to take the elastic cord out of this plastic wonder,, and replace it with one much longer,, to fit around the back of tire. Knowing what I now know, I would never buy another one of these; if one does, they will have to do what I did, and alter it to fit the tire. Land Rover, the maker or the retailer, obviously never tried to fit these onto a Land Rover Discovery II tire, or they wouldn't be selling ... $180. for a piece of plastic is way too much to pay for such a thing.
