The directions for this product could have better quality image examples. One of the body bolts was unusable and poor quality. Like most of these aftermarket fit-all products, you need to attach everything LOOSE before tightening as nothing matches up. Actual brackets are good heavy duty but crude. If you don’t have a full garage with tools and an angle grinder I wouldn’t recommend but they look nice when they are finished. Total assembly time: 3 hours.

    Strong and sturdy, it's a step, not a rock slider.

    Pretty easy to install, took about 2 hours. The nuts used split ring washers to keep everthing tight. One of bolts on the yellow steel brackets did not match the threads of the nut. I went to the hardware store and found 1/2" lock nuts that fit perfectly for $0.25 each. I will go back and replace all of the nuts with locking type and lock-tite, then I will spray paint all of the joints. The system works though. Mom, Dad, Wife, and other short people all like the addition of the step to get in and out.

    Easy installion, excellent instruction. heavy, high strength brackets.

    Compact shipping package with all needed hardware parts. Excellent instructions. Easy installation; total much less than three hours with regular tools. I had one 1/2" provided nut that had a burr on the thread. For me, not an issue because I got a less shiny one out of my mayonnaise jar. It might be more annoying for some. I bought a kit earlier for my old Liberty (2003) that became a rear-end collision write-off. This kit fits better, is stronger and looks better too!. I am very pleased and strongly recommend this product.
