Nissan pathfinder 2006 r51 4ltr v6 fuel gauge problem.
After going to my Nissan dealer in the area about the problem with the fuel gauge dropping to empty once the tank reached halfway and their response was that will be $1200.00 to fix I decided to do it myself and not use the genuine part as that is where the problem lies (faulty part). To cut a long story short I did a little research and came up with this fuel sender unit (perfect) after a few hours of pulling out the tank removing the fuel pump and replacing the fuel sender unit and putting everything back together as it was the fuel gauge works as it supposed to.
