Nylon construction not cheap plastic.
Tried 2 packages of the dorman (5 in each package). All failed, i.e. broke while trying to fit into the hole or adding the rod or would not retain the rod. The Ford OEM product at 10-20 times the price did not break on install and did retain the rod. They appear made of nylon not inferior plastic as the other 5 per package alternative product. Have used products of the non Ford brand with even superior results than the OEM but were more substantial assembly type items which they had addressed the weaknesses of the failed item. This was a surprise. But given the low price for five maybe not so much.Tried 2 packages of the dorman (5 in each package).
