Try 'em for yourself.
Volvo mufflers like this will deteriorate quickly when the car is only driven occasionally and/or for short distances because the condensation of water from the combustion never gets heated enough to evaporate. It forms acid in the exhaust pipe and muffler where it eats thru in weak spots at first making leaks. Almost all mufflers are prone to this. Buy and try.
