Intake tube for 1988 Mercedes 560SL
The original tube had shrunk due to heat and age but was still flexible. The problem was that it always came out of the cold air opening the radiator support. This new one was the correct length but still did as well. So........I cut a few inches off the old one and inserted it into the new one and stuck the adaption into the cold air port in the radiator support. You need to compress it just a bit to get it connected but it is now very secure and easy to remove when YOU want or need to. The result was perfect. So if yours is cracked or missing, buy 2 of these to make a slightly longer tube, it works better that way.The original tube had shrunk due to heat and age but was still flexible.
