The part came as expected, brand new and in great shape. I ordered this part specifically for my 1973 Cougar, however the bracket is slightly too short and therefore the stopper bolt won't go through the hole with the bracket in place. I ended up not using the bracket and only the bolt and stopper, which works fine. For the cost and the fact that I can still use it,but not as intended, it's not worth returning
